The MSL Academy™ Terms and Conditions

Engagement

Thank you for accepting our offer to present our training, professional support and coaching services to you. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree that the placement of an order together with these terms and conditions forms a contract between you (herein referred to as ‘the Client’) and The MSL Academy™.

These services are provided by The MSL Academy™ (herein referred to as “the Provider”). The Provider offers professional training and coaching services designed to support clients in achieving specific personal, professional, or business-related goals. These services may include, but are not limited to, skills-based training, values clarification, career strategy development, planning and goal-setting, evaluation of professional behaviors, and the delivery of tools and frameworks to facilitate personal and professional growth. Coaching is not to be construed as medical, psychological, or legal advice, nor is it a substitute for therapy or counseling.

Throughout the relationship, your coach(es) and service providers may engage in very direct and personal conversations. For the service to be powerful and transformational, your provider will be honest and straightforward in asking questions and the client agrees to fully participate in the process. This may include, but not be limited to, attending all sessions on time, completing all set ‘integration work’ and reading/watching/listening to external material as directed by the coach(es).

Some packages come with semi-private or private sessions. Unless otherwise agreed, it is the client’s responsibility to schedule via the scheduling link with the MSL Coach. Each session will be conducted via Kajabi, Google Meet, or Zoom, unless otherwise agreed to by both parties.

Coaching calls for which the client arrives late will be deducted from the scheduled session time frame. Cancellations within a 24-hour period will be considered as a ‘completed’ coaching session. Please make sure to attend your sessions or reschedule them with 24-hour advance warning.

Confidentiality & Privacy 

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We are also committed to effectively managing the collection, storage, use and disclosure of personal information for the purpose of our business activities in accordance with Texas State Law.

The provider promises the client that all information provided is strictly confidential. No information or content shall be released to any persons, including spouse or immediate family, except at the client’s request. Your willingness to be truthful, open, and vulnerable are paramount to your success.

Code of Conduct

The Client agrees to conduct themselves in a professional manner in all live sessions, group forums, and communication with staff, coaches, and other participants. Disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the program without refund. The MSL Academy™ reserves the right to moderate or revoke access to any digital or live experience at its sole discretion.

Time and Place

Your payment of the investment to us entitles you to receive one or a combination of career support, coaching calls, as well as access to all of The MSL Academy™’s digital products, as applicable:

  • Private coaching sessions
  • Access to digital products including Excel Into MSL™ Bronze & Platinum and Excel As an MSL™
  • Group sessions
  • Private community access
  • Small-group masterclasses and Q&A calls
  • Live coaching calls for Excel Into MSL™ Platinum clients

Investment 

You must pay us in consideration of the services an investment as specified on the services list on the website. All payments are in United States Dollars. Payment must be made using the method specified at checkout. Payments made by Credit Card or PayPal are subject to processing fees. Receipts may be tailored to support your business or tax reporting needs.

Refunds

Refunds are only available for Platinum-tier participants and only under specific conditions outlined in the Success Guarantee below. There are no refunds for other programs (Excel Into MSL™ Bronze, Excel As an MSL™, LinkedIn Profile Optimization, Resume & Cover Letter Optimization, 1:1 Coaching) and services under any circumstances. All sales for these tiers are final.

No other programs, including Bronze and Excel As an MSL™, are eligible for refunds at any time, regardless of participation or outcome.

Program-specific Conditions

Excel Into MSL™ Platinum

Clients in the Platinum tier are eligible for a Success Guarantee, which is––if you do not successfully obtain an MSL job in 6 months, we will provide you with unlimited access to our online course and up to 4 additional 1:1 coaching calls per year, subject to coach availability. The following are required to be eligible for our success guarantee:

  • You must follow the entire roadmap and complete all assignments within three (3) calendar days of their due date.
  • You must attend all coaching calls (approximately one per month for 6 consecutive months), unless otherwise prespecified.
  • You must make all payments on time per your payment plan, if applicable.
  • You notify The MSL Academy™ of your concerns and request a review of your eligibility within the program timeline of 180 days.

If all of these conditions are fulfilled and the desired outcome is not achieved, you may request a refund. If approved, you will receive 100% of your paid amount, minus third party fees, credit card or payment processing fees. Refund eligibility will be determined by The MSL Academy™ and requires proof of full participation and compliance.

Failure to meet any of the above criteria will result in forfeiture of the guarantee. This is not a money-back guarantee by default—it is a conditional performance-based guarantee that applies only to Platinum clients.

Excel Into MSL™ Bronze

The Bronze tier includes access to structured content and limited community engagement. There is no success guarantee and no refund available for Bronze clients. All sales are final.

Excel As An MSL™ 

This is a self-paced, digital-only offering with no live support or coaching. There is no refund available for Excel As an MSL™ clients. All sales are final.

Other Services

There is no refund available for services including but not limited to resume & cover letter preparation, LinkedIn profile optimization, and 1:1 coaching. All sales final. 

Disclosures

You acknowledge:

  • We are not certified coaches licensed by any governmental authority.
  • We do not offer professional mental health services or therapy. For such services, consult a licensed provider.
  • Our services are educational and designed to help you advance professionally through your own efforts.

Disclaimers

By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree:

  • The Provider is not a licensed therapist, counselor, or legal professional.
  • The Provider’s role is educational and consultative in nature, supporting you in achieving your own goals.
  • Success is not guaranteed and depends on your individual efforts and adherence to the program structure.

Access to programs is provided via third-party platforms (e.g., Kajabi, Zoom, Slack, Google Drive). The MSL Academy™ is not responsible for outages, compatibility issues, or errors related to these platforms. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have reliable internet access and up-to-date devices capable of running program tools.

Non-Transferability of Enrollment

Program access is licensed to a single individual and may not be transferred, sold, or shared without prior written approval. Violations may result in immediate termination of access without refund.

Marketing & Testimonials

By enrolling, you agree that The MSL Academy™ may use success metrics, testimonials, and qualitative feedback in marketing and promotional materials. If your name, image, or identifiable comments are to be used, we will request separate, explicit permission in writing.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The MSL Academy™ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, or for any claim related in any way to your participation, including but not limited to lost earnings, job placement outcomes, or business interruption.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, recordings, templates, and digital content remain the intellectual property of The MSL Academy™. You may not reproduce, share, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

Modifications

The MSL Academy™ reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
